I just finished another prayer box that I started months ago. 

 

 

I finished a set of ten small drawings destined to head out into the world this week...

 

I have 10 more started...

and I am making good progress on "A Vision of Eden,"

I wish that I could paint in my sleep!

 

 

 

 



New Start

I was given a vision for what my next painting would be on Christmas Eve night.  I was able to get started on it on January 12th.  It is titled "A Vision of Eden, The Love that Surpasses Knowledge".  I am really enjoying the process...I always do!

Sometimes it takes a while...

Sometimes it takes me a while to gather in all the loose ends I have hanging around.  Posting has certainly been one of those that has been dangling since November.  I blame it on the new cats.  Our little house has still been creating though...messes, cookies, and all other sorts. 

 

I have a new Thank You design started.  She is on the back burner for now though...

 

 

Alice has taken to baking beautiful things every Saturday afternoon.  These shortbread

cookies were her own recipe!

Enjoyed a morning of quilling flowers...

and had a day in when it was snowing on the outside and warm and sweet on the inside.

 

I finally got around to refinishing these ceramic balloons that had been in my basement for years! They used to be a part of my sister's bedroom when we were little. 

 

 

 

New Friend #2

Here is wild kitty Number 2, now known as Blitz, that has joined our household unexpectedly.  This beautiful cat was so scaredy just 2 weeks ago that you couldn't approach him at all.  You can see now that this has radically changed.  I just hope that Mr. Slinks and Blitz keep their new good fortune under their hats.

Asher and I put white carnations in different colors of food colored water.  They did a fine job of decorating themselves for Christmas!

Deck the Halls

New Efforts

 

The beginnings of a new prayer box based on Psalm 62:8 are underway...

 

 

Doing lots of stitches in preparation for this years annual Deck the Halls Sale at the Sawtooth Center.  I only do these brooches for this show, so it is a little once a year treat to sit and stitch.

 

 

Brought a little fire into the house...

 

 

This beautiful cat's new efforts have been to win us over and he is doing a fine job of it.  We have named him Mr. Slinks and he now finds his daily bread with us.  He just showed up at our door about a week ago.
