While visiting my parents last night, I saw the playing cards that I learned to play solitaire with. I use to stare and mull over these face cards. It was a huge treat to see these images again after having forgotten them. I instantly remembered how much I admired them. Seeing treasured images from a long time ago gives my stomach a very certain feeling that only pictures from long ago can.
